Forging the strongest metals into some of the most powerful weapons is an old tradition in the marvel universe. Over the years we have seen the use of those immensely powerful substances to create the most destructive weapons in the entire universe. So, let’s get to know some of those powerful metal in Marvel
6 Strongest Marvel Metal of All Time!
Before we starting the list, this list consists of metals that are showcased in the marvel comics only. Which means it consists of metals mostly of earth-616 and the alternate universes. As that is out of the way, let’s get back to the lists.
Carbonadium is a resilient radioactive metal that is vastly stronger than steel. It is known to be the strongest marvel metal that is easily available to forge weapons with. Even with its availability and low meltable temperature, it’s nearly indestructible by earthly weapons and even some magical enchantments.
In Marvel universe Carbonadium is used in Omega Red’s tentacles, Moon Knight’s suits, Doctor Octopus’s tentacles, and Deadpool’s katana are made of Carbonadium which can stop the healing factor of any earthly beings.
Vibranium is a rare naturally occurring meteorite that is found underneath Wakanda. Vibranium is not as hard or as dense as Adamantium but it is still very durable. It is more easily meltable and easier to make objects with.
Vibranium absorbs vibratory and kinetic energy within its vicinity. The vibratory energy is stored within the bonds between the molecules making up the Vibranium. It absorbs more impact than adamantium but they do not have more impacting ability than adamantium.
Adamantium is the substance that coats Wolverine’s skeleton. It is a densely artificial iron-based alloy that is virtually indestructible. A pure blade of adamantium is capable of cutting almost every known substance in the marvel universe.
Adamantium is created by mixing certain chemical residues. When these chemicals are mixed and kept at a temperature of 1500 degrees Fahrenheit and set for eight minutes, it becomes solid and created Adamantium.
The molecular structure of Adamantium is very strong and there are very few known forces that are able to alter this structure. For years, we have known adamantium to be the strongest metal in the Marvel universe.
Uru is a magically enchanted artifact, metal, an alloy that is found in the dark fields of Nidavellir, one of the nine realms of the universe. The substance can be forged into weapons but it needs a temperature that is immeasurable to any being in the universe.
Uru is able to store any amount of energy including the magic of every realm. It is resistant to damage and is non-sparkling to lightning or fire. The characteristics of this metal are very difficult to measure as most weapons forged with Uru are magically enchanted.
Adamantine is a legendary olympian metal that is described as the metal of god. It is a highly mystical property and golden in color. It is capable of deflecting massive blasts of concussive energy,
Adamantine is demonstrated as one of the strongest metals in marvel because of its incredible durability and the power to cut through anything including godly skins. Once in the forge of Herculese’s mace, it was able to take the full power of Thor’s Mjölnir with no zero drawbacks.
Porto Adamantium is what makes the shield of Captain America in the marvel comics. It is a complex combination of Adamantium, Vibranium, and an unknown third substance that has never been duplicated. A combination of these three substances is considered the strongest metal in marvel to date.
Porto Adamantium brings the highest durability of Vibranium and the extreme hardness of Adamantium of the table. The third substance is what forges these two elements together and makes it impenetrable.
As a comic book geek, this list is purely based on the marvel comics itself. You might argue with the MCU version of Captain America’s shield, which was made of Vibranium and easily destroyed by some heavy blows from Thanos. But the comics version of Captain America’s shield is made of the strongest metal in marvel.
With that out of the way, what do you think is the strongest metal in the Marvel universe? Let me know!
